Hi, I’m Megan.

How did I get here? I’m a mama to a four-year-old daughter and one-year-old son. Becoming a parent has without a doubt been the most wonderful, exhausting, challenging thing I have accomplished in life so far. During my first pregnancy, due to a change with my husband’s job, we moved our growing family to a new state away from our friends and family. My husband was working long hours in his new position which was extremely difficult on all of us, particularly after our daughter was born.

Motherhood can be an incredibly lonely and isolating experience sometimes, and in her early days, my highly sensitive little babe struggled with reflux, colic, and was up every 1-2 hours at night for months. The struggle was REAL.

I stumbled across the Isla Grace Baby-Led Sleep approach about 7 months after my daughter was born, and thank goodness I did. For the first time in months, I FINALLY felt seen and heard. My intuition was telling me that my daughter’s reflux and frequent wakings were not normal. After having a lip tie addressed, discovering food allergies and sensitivities, and seeing a chiropractor for her digestive issues, we started to see major improvements with sleep.

I decided to take the certification course myself, and it was absolutely life changing. My confidence in my parenting has skyrocketed, and I want to share my knowledge with anyone and everyone I meet. I’m so excited to be here.

Transforming the way you see sleep

My approach views sleep for what it is: a biological function. Many sleep consultants view infant sleep as a behavior that needs to be fixed or trained. Alternatively, my goal is to get to the root of why your baby or child is not sleeping by doing an in-depth assessment of your child and your family. Every baby and every situation is unique, and this approach is definitely not one-size-fits-all. I see you, your baby, and your unique situation.

My Educational Background

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. I have always had a passion for working with children, and I have worked in the field of childcare or education for 7 years.

I completed an 18-Week Sleep Certification Course through Isla-Grace Sleep. The course includes over 120 modules of information from tongue ties and reflux to child development, emotion, and attachment. It uses an individualized, whole-child and whole-family approach to sleep.
